Charlie Bonamer, Realtor®/Sales Manager  is a  Venice Board of Realtors® member. He moved to the Venice area from the freezing upper peninsula of Michigan with his family in 1982 and  has been a Sarasota county resident for over 20 years and  a Realtor® for the past 9 years.

Charlie works with buyers and sellers. His knowledge of the area market and marketing techniques sell houses faster and for a higher price and with less hassle. His goal is to manage every aspect of your real estate transaction so you can relax knowing that nothing will fall through the cracks. Chuck Bonamer is the president of TRANS-EQUITY, Inc., Realtors®. His brokerage firm renders brokerage, litigation support and lecture services to the brokerage and law industries. He was awarded the Top Instructor Award for At Home With Diversity for 2003 by the National Association of Realtors® (one of three in the nation). He has repeatedly taught the course for NAR and presented it at the 2005 Annual Convention in San Francisco.

Chuck’s courses are consistently the top rated presentations at state conventions from Alaska to Puerto Rico, including the Florida Association of Realtors Annual Convention in Orlando. He writes and lectures in Florida, Washington, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, Louisiana, South Carolina, Nevada, Wisconsin, New York, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Idaho and Alaska. He is also a Certified National Association of Realtors® One America facilitator, sponsor and instructor for Train-the-Trainer sessions. He also writes courses for the Louisiana Real Estate Commission and Louisiana Association of Realtors® and GRI courses for many states, including Florida.

Chuck, the past president of the Florida Real Estate Educators Association, chaired the Professional Standards Committee, Grievance Committee and the Professional Development Committee of the Venice Area Board of Realtors®. He serves as Mediator and a member of the Professional Standards Committee at his board. He trains many of the Grievance and Professional Standards Committees throughout Florida. Chuck is also a member of the Venice Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors®.

An Honors graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Chuck was Realtor® of the Year of the Venice Board. He holds the ITI, GRI, CRB and many other designations.

Active with the Florida Association of Realtors®, he also served as Chairman of the FAR Technology Committee and the Business and Technology Forum, and chairs interboard-arbitration hearings.

He is ITI (Instructor Training Institute) Certified by NAR for both course writing and presentation skills. His articles appear in Communique, Real Estate Today, Issues and Trends, Real Estate Business, Florida Realtor® and other publications.
